RECREATIONAL FACILITIES
Through Natural England's Higher Level Stewardship 'Education Access' Scheme, John, in 2009, has received 25 visits to New Laund, and undertaken 15 visits to schools. The farm hosts several walks annually as part of Festival Bowland.
SPECIAL EVENTS
New Laund has participated in Open farm Sunday which is an annual event in the LEAF (Linking Environment & Farming) national programme.
The farm hosts visits from local schools taking part in the RSPB/AONB Bowland Education Project.
FOOTPATHS
A disabled 'concessionary' path of 1000 metres has been built across New Laund Farm providing a route to Wild Boar Park.
